This empowering gathering connected international leaders, industry pioneers, and future professionals. Co-located with the Airport Show, it celebrated women's achievements and aspirations in the vibrant heart of the UAE's aviation sector.
The inaugural Women in Aviation assembly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marked a historic milestone for female empowerment in the aviation sector. Aligned with Vision 2030, this past event reflected the Kingdom's commitment to gender diversity and inclusivity. It provided a platform for networking, experience sharing, and highlighted the expanding support and opportunities for women in the evolving Saudi aviation industry.
Igniting inspiration and fostering empowerment, the Women in Aviation Middle East Conference soared to new heights at the prestigious Airport Show. From May 9th to 10th, 2023, aviation enthusiasts gathered at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1, DWTC, Dubai, UAE. Uniting industry leaders, this groundbreaking event celebrated women's achievements and paved the way for a more inclusive future in aviation.
During Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022, with the patronage of His Excellency Mohamed AlSalami - the Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation Government of Fujairah and Deputy Chairman of the General Civil Aviation Authority, we had the pleasure of launching the conference program on Tuesday 1st of November with an exciting agenda, extraordinary speakers, and over 400 attendees.
As part of our annual conference, we celebrated the achievements of women in aviation once again, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
As part of the biennial Dubai Airshow, we had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of industry professionals, including engineers, military personnel, and maintenance personnel. This allowed us to continue to raise awareness of the importance of women in aviation by participating in the event.
Under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; we held this year's annual conference as a hybrid event both on-site at the Dubai Airport Show and via online participation of keynote speakers.
Under the patronage of Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, President of Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Kuwait and in gratitude to the organizers of Kuwait Aviation Show, our sponsors, our first Biennial Conference in Kuwait event took place - during which we have celebrated the achievement of Kuwaiti women in Aviation.

Joining the biennial airshow again, our participation brings about exposure to a large variety of different aspects of aviation as we interact with people across engineering, military,and maintenance sectors, amongst many others.
To celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, we distributed awards to Emirati women who hold positions in the aviation industry to support their contributions to the country and to the industry at large.
The fourth Women in Aviation - Middle East General Assembly, which took place alongside the Airport Show in Dubai in May, was the biggest congress so far, including more than 750 attendees, 26 international speakers, 12 sponsor companies, and eight media partners.
Our team and members united in the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), the official representative of the business aviation industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
In our largest assembly yet, the event served as a meeting place for international aviation leaders, female industry role models, and hundreds of college and university students looking to join the aviation industry.

Shaist Waiz, first female certified civilian pilot from Afghanistan, and the youngest woman to fly solo around the world in a single-engine aircraft stopped in Dubai to visit us on her journey.
In our second general assembly, members across the Middle East gathered to share their insights and to further investigate challenges that face they and posit solutions on how we can collectively progress towards a better future.
Under the guidance of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, we participated in a panel discussion centered on issues related to water conservation, saving natural resources, and building a sustainable environment.
Our first annual assembly, held alongside the annual Dubai Airport show, allowed us to re-align our goals through the feedback we got through speaking with attendees in the show and further customize our platform to meet the needs of women in the local aviation scene.
In collaboration with IAWA, our members were invited to an exclusive lunch meeting during the Global Aerospace Summit in Abu Dhabi.
